Since the age of 18, this tall Texan has toured the country singing and playing piano. She did session work and demos in Los Angeles and Nashville for songwriters and publishing companies. Being a prolific songwriter herself, she was signed as a staff writer at Lodgehall/Milsap Publishing, then P.R.I.Publishing, she signed a record deal, her music videos appeared on VH1 and CMT and she was Nominated for ACM New Artist in 1990. Daniele has toured from California to Nashville as a soloist, duet, the Daniele Alexander Trio and as a recording artist on Mercury/Polygram Records.
Some career highlights include celebrating her first single which she penned “She’s There” as it soared to #18 on the Billboard charts, and being featured in People magazine twice in 1989 and 1990, with her crossover talent described from Anne Murray to a country Tina Turner, sometimes a Broadway belter or the likes of Julie London. Her second album “I Dream In Color” had 3 duets with label mate Butch Baker and featured the single and video “It wasn’t you it wasn’t me”. She also enjoyed playing in Celebrity golf tournaments across the United States.
Daniele was invited to be a Resident performer at the Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas when she moved back to Texas. Later on The Daniele Alexander Trio performed weekly at Eddie V’s from 2015 to 2019 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She has now returned to Palm Desert, where she always felt at home. And there is no place like home! Whether performing in intimate candlelit clubs on El Paseo, or singing a mix of pop, country, and jazz at a private party or nightclub — Daniele has provided enjoyment and enchantment for many years with her warm martini music style and diverse genres.
She helped to launch the opening of Palm Desert’s Eddie V’s in 2019, performs at the upscale boutique Hotel Paseo, the iconic Melvyn’s in Palm Springs, and charms audiences at Vicki’s of Santa Fe, Jolene’s, and Woody’s. If you like Diana Krall, Dusty Springfield, Bonnie Raitt, and Billie Holiday, you’ll be delighted to hear Daniele. For a special treat, request an original song. You’ll be glad you did!
